Train Protect Defend Registration Information Accuracy Policy
At Train Protect Defend, accurate registration information is critical for processing your class enrollment, issuing official certificates, and meeting all legal and reporting requirements. Please carefully review and confirm all details (name, address, date of birth, contact information, etc.) before submitting your registration form.
If changes must be made to your registration information because of an error on your part, a $10 correction fee will apply. If a completed form (such as a certificate, LTC application, or official record) has already been prepared and must be corrected and re-issued due to incorrect information you provided, a $25 correction and re-issue fee will apply.
These fees help offset the significant time and administrative costs involved. With the high volume of students we train each month, even small errors require staff to manually update records in multiple systems, reprint and re-certify documents, and sometimes resubmit information to state or federal agencies. What may seem like a quick fix actually pulls resources away from teaching and supporting our students. By taking a moment to double-check your information upfront, you help us keep classes running smoothly and costs low for everyone. Thank you for your attention to detail and for helping us serve our community effectively.

Gun Sales
All sales are final. Once the background check is approved and the firearm is transferred to you, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for any reason, including changes of mind, buyer’s remorse, or discovery of features that do not meet your expectations. Please inspect the firearm thoroughly and ask all questions before completing the purchase. We are happy to answer any questions about the firearm’s condition, function, or specifications prior to the transfer.
At Train Protect Defend, we are committed to responsible firearm ownership. All firearm sales and transfers comply fully with federal and Texas laws. Every purchaser must be at least 21 years old for handguns and 18 years old for long guns. You will need to present valid government-issued photo identification and successfully complete the required federal background check (NICS) before taking possession of any firearm, unless you have your Texas LTC. We will not sell or transfer a firearm to anyone who is prohibited by law from owning one or if the transaction appears suspicious in any way.
We strongly encourage every buyer to complete firearms safety training. As a training academy, we believe well-trained owners are safer owners. We may ask questions about your intended use and training background to help ensure responsible ownership. We reserve the right to refuse any sale if we believe it is not in the best interest of safety or if it raises any legal concerns.
For private party transfers, we require the recipient to complete the same background check process as a regular purchase. All firearms must be picked up in person at our licensed location in Denton, Texas. We promote safe storage practices and recommend that every new gun owner secure their firearms properly.
Our goal is simple: to help law-abiding citizens train, protect, and defend responsibly. Thank you for choosing Train Protect Defend.
