Level III After-Class Guide

Track A · Required

Private Security / Level III (TOPS) — apply, upload training docs, Level II if needed, MMPI.

Track B · Optional

Texas LTC — separate process from TOPS. Skip if you already have an LTC or don’t want one.

Do not mix paperwork. TOPS ≠ LTC. Same shoot can create two documents — still two separate submissions.

90 days: Firearm proficiency for your security license doesn’t last forever — apply in TOPS soon.
Level II first (for approval): Level III won’t be approved until Level II training and licensing are done.
Optional LTC: Online classroom is $39. You do not have to finish it before the Level III shoot.
Same-day LTC form: If you want free LTC shoot paperwork from class day, complete Walt’s proficiency form that day.
