You do not have to finish Level II before taking Level III training.
But your Level III will not be approved until Level II training and licensing are done.

Online Classroom Course
$80 with Train Protect Defend
This is the required Level III classroom portion.
Take it with TPD, or with any DPS-approved instructor / school.
If you already completed classroom elsewhere, skip Part 1 and go to Part 2.

& Firearms Training

This is not “just a range day.”
You get a full 10 hours of self-defense tactics and firearms training,
including live-fire pistol qualification.
Took classroom through another school? You can still book this in-person session with us — as long as that classroom portion is already complete through a DPS-approved provider.

- Includes live-fire pistol qualification (not range-only)
- Bring your own handgun — rentals are not available for this course
- You must already be proficient with that firearm (instructors cannot help during the proficiency test)
- Shotgun qualification is a separate day / different range
